Hi, I’m Daniel, a game sound designer based in Stockholm, Sweden. Thanks for visiting my portfolio!

Currently, I’m a Sound Designer at Star Stable Entertainment, where I’ve spent the last four years shaping the audio experience of Star Stable Online. Working on a long-running live game has taught me how to balance innovation with tradition, solve creative and technical challenges, and deliver high-quality work—even under tight deadlines.


In my spare time, I co-run the SFX Swap, a monthly event that brings together over 100 sound designers to share and exchange work.

Star Stable Online

Dynamic Hoof Sound System

I reworked the hoof sound system for horses in Star Stable Online. I recorded real horses, created new assets and implemented a flexible system that works across 80+ horse animation rigs. The sounds adapt dynamically based on material, speed, which leg, weight, and tack. This was a cross-disciplinary effort involving close collaboration with tech animators and programmers.

Ambience Hollow Woods

This video showcases the ambience I created for the Hollow Woods area in Star Stable Online. The ambience will change depending on the time. The area also includes distinct reverb zones to enhance immersion and in this case create a magical feeling to the area.

Redesigns

Outer Worlds 2: Trailer

A sound redesign of The Outer Worlds 2 announcement trailer.

Uncharted 4

A sound redesign of a puzzle sequence from Uncharted 4, with a focus on closely replicating the original audio. I extracted the dialogue using iZotope RX. This was both a fun and challenging exercise in precision and detail.

Assassin's Creed Shadows

Haste

Control

A sound redesign of the launch power in Control.

Cataclysm

This is my entry for a sound design competition hosted by A Sound Effect, where participants were challenged to redesign the trailer for Mattia Cellotto new sound effects library Cataclysm.
